Good Luck My Intrepid Photographers!

I think Henry L. put it best while waiting outside Letterman last week, "This week all hell is going to break loose!"

Parties every night, LATE parties no less...

VMA's on Thursday....

Keep this in mind my fellow shooters. Let's not let this week stress us out. Remember the promise for the last two years in Miami. A lot of parties LOOK better then they turn out.

Let's all just be happy we don't have to deal with Hurricanes and that wonderful August Miami Heat!

Have fun... NOT!

Heather Mills and Her Video Diary!

...Heather Mills feeds her own media obsession craving!

Mills' video diary 'weapon' has Macca worried sick

London, Aug 19: She may have started using her trusty camcorder to record how the paparazzi have been shadowing her every move, but Sir Paul McCartney is worried that estranged wife Heather Mills will use her video diary in their bitter divorce battle.

Though the camcorder tapes concentrate mainly on the frenzied press surrounding Mills till now, McCartney is worried that the footage could be easily made into a television documentary, and sold to a broadcaster by the former model.

Apart from the media that dodges her every turn, Mills and her aides have also taped incidents like the one where Macca locked her out of his London house – incidents that could help Mills portraying herself as a victim.

A source close to the animal rights activist confirmed that though Mills had first set out to prove what a “nuisance” the photographers were, she had now taken to keeping a video diary of what happens to her every day.

“Heather feels that her life has become a bit of a pantomime circus since the split. She is being hounded by paparazzi and has no privacy anymore. Originally she set out to film the photographers at work, to prove what a nuisance they are. Now things have moved on and it's turned into a diary of what happens to her every day,” the Daily Mail quoted the source, as saying.

“Heather also sees herself as something of a documentary film maker. The past three months have unwittingly provided ample opportunity to experiment with that,” the source added.

As for Macca, one of his confidantes revealed that though he had been happy with the filming at first, he was now worried that Mills will use it as a “weapon” against him.

“Paul was initially happy about Heather filming. His only concern was that she shouldn't film little Beatrice. But now the gloves are off, Paul is worried the filming might be used as just another weapon in Heather's armoury,” the source said.

Teen Meets Mets by Posing as Journalist
Leli Arrested Following Friday's Mets-Rockies Game

AP Sports
NEW YORK (Aug. 19) - Ryan Leli loves the Mets.

MLB News & Features
John Kruk

The Suffolk County teenager loved the Mets so much that authorities say he posed as a reporter to get into Shea Stadium and talk with players.

Police arrested the 18-year-old Leli Friday night at Shea just before the start of the New York Mets-Colorado Rockies game and charged him with impersonating a journalist, the Queens District Attorney announced Saturday.

Prosecutors say Leli told New York Mets management that he worked for NBC Universal and showed a fake NBC employee identification card so he could get press credentials.

Leli first used the press pass to attend an Aug. 10 game between the Mets and the San Diego Padres. Authorities said Leli used the pass to approach and chat with players including Mike Piazza before and after that game.

Leli used the fake NBC identification again Friday to get another press pass for the Mets-Rockies game.

Mets management apparently became suspicious and contacted authorities.

Leli was also charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, falsifying business records, larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, criminal impersonation and criminal trespass.

He was arraigned Saturday in Queens Criminal Court and released on his own recognizance.

Leli was scheduled to return to court on Sept. 27. He faces up to seven years in prison if he's convicted.

Leli's attorney John Rapaway did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

A Good Premiere? It's All An ILLUSION.

The Illusionist Premiere
Chelsea West Cinema

Sometimes I wonder...and hope for the best at a premiere. And once again, I am let down.

Two photo pits were set up. One for A list and one for regular press.

Arrival carpet was in the shape of an 'L'. The regular press was set up on the short part and A list on the long part (along with video).

Now does it make any sense to put the 40-50 photogs, 3-4 rows, deep in the shorter arrivals area? And the 10-15 "A" list on the longer part? Oh... I forgot... God forbid the 'special' photographers had to work two rows deep. Boo-hoo.

Not only was the arrivals a packed madhouse, but their were two house shooters on the carpet, a bottled water promotion handing out water and a slew of PR clogging the carpet.

One agency had 3 SHOOTERS transmitting from the event. One in Regular Press, one in A list and one on the carpet.

Paul Giamatti; Jessica Biel; Edward Norton.
Do these names warrant Oscar like coverage?

I guess if you can't produce quality, kill 'em with quantity.
(Oh My..Who said that?)

Lindsay Lohan's paparazzi love

LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Lindsay Lohan loves being hounded by the press because it means people still like her.

The 'Just My Luck' actress has revealed that although she doesn't like being followed by the paparazzi it would be upsetting if they didn't - because her popularity would be on the wane.

She revealed to Elle magazine: "I literally come out of my hotel and the photographers are there. It's not like I ask them to follow me. But you know, it's actually weird when the paparazzi's not there and things aren't being written, because you kind of wonder, Do people not care anymore?"

The flame-haired actress also admitted that she will only have sex with men who can be faithful to her.

She added: "My mom's going to kill me for talking about sleeping with people. But if I'm going to give my body to someone, I'd rather them not be with other people.

"I love having a variety of partners. I think everyone does, especially at my age. I mean, if the sex is bad, the relationship's not going anywhere."

Will Ferrell wants more Paparazzi

Talladega Nights star Will Ferrell feels insulted that the paparazzi aren't interested in him.

"They don't care about me. Not in America, at least. But a weird thing happened in London, last year. I was strolling around with my wife and child. We were curious to see if anyone would notice or even care that I was there. Suddenly, this photographer just kind of materialized and went 'click'. Then he ran away," Ferrell told Total Film magazine. The star claims he called after him saying: "Hey! It's okay! Make me more famous!"

"It was just one guy. I was appalled and insulted. I wanted to know where the others were hiding."

Penn and Teller once made this really great bad movie called Penn and Teller Get Killed.

The plot of the film involved Penn commenting on a national morning television that he wish his life was more exciting, and someone was out to kill him. The rest of the film, as you may have guessed, involved just that. A classic example of the saying "Be careful of what you wish for, you just might get it."

I'm wondering if that saying even crossed Ferrell's mind when he decided to make the joke.

LINDSAY LOHAN has hinted that her brief fling with CHAPTER 27 costar JARED LETO was doomed because the actor hated being part of the paparazzi circus that followed the actress on their dates. Neither Lohan nor CAMERON DIAZ's ex-boyfriend have spoken publicly about the 2005 romance, but now the MEAN GIRLS star has opened up about why she and Leto didn't gel. She says, "Jared was so paranoid. He'd always be like, 'Don't come over if you're going to bring 15 f**king paparazzi.'"
