I HATE when people, and the celebs and PR aholes call us "PAPARAZZI" when we are at a planned event. Sometimes it feels as if they are pigeonholing all of us for what the stalkerazzi do

Actually, this article is really just about the LOS ANGELES paparrazzi...which are the extreme. NEW YORK "street" paparrazzi are no where near as harsh as their L.A. counterparts...almost mild in comparison...not that the NY "crew" are all innocents. (Admittedly, I do both but 90% events.)

Calling press photogs at events "paparrazzi" IS truly misguided. There IS an obvious difference. Even worse, when the PRs and publicists plus security staff at events call us the same thing, AND they, of all people, should know better(!). Very irritating.

And what about those autograph dealers on BOTH coasts?? Where's THAT story?!

Now, when are they going to the expos'e about those booty-grabbing and phone-throwing celebrities!! "NEXT! on A Current Affair...Are Celebrities Endangering YOUR Well-being!?"

Peace and mango.

TYPO ALERT!!

(Admittedly, I do both but 90% events.)

This line was supposed to go after the 2nd paragraph. I do both events and paparrazzi. Not both coasts.

This correction is in response to the snarky phone call I just received. punk.
