Paramount Pain In The....

It looks like War Of The Worlds on Thursday is shaping up to be really interesting:

Security will be at a frenzy since the "Watergun Incident". Buzz is there may be a lockdown for the press area at a certain time. But don't hold me to this....

Paramount is pulling no punches here. Seems that photogs that have called to RSVP or find out info have been given the cold shoulder. It's reported that Paramount has put pressure on agencies and photogs who have spoken their mind.

No special consideration for A or B listers.

More to follow......

It always seems that before the “big” premieres we work ourselves into a nervous frenzy. The email from Martha was extremely rude, but it sounds like it is the normal list situation for those of outside, and I’m sure the usually bunch will be inside.

Lately Cruise may have gone over the deep end, but he is always great about giving everyone a photo. I don’t think this one will be so bad. Hope I’m right.

well apparently they are letting in their favorites and they are inviting 'select' fotogs to a press conference tomorrow. Even magazines that are usually allowed inside access are being denied by Martha. Does anyone know if this is a Martha/Peggy decision, Paramount, or Cruise directly?

If this is truely a 'no placement' event, we as a group MUST be willing to enforce that statement. If it's "First Come, First Serve", and they DARE to place someone in a spot, REBEL! Personally, I say rush the barriacde and don't move until we can sort out spots according to our list. I'm sure if we let video know about this, we could get some press from this. (Remember George Clooney?)

Tom Cruise is not pressing charges.

hurray. (sarc)

Ya know...the London incident is just giving them another excuse to treat still photogs like crap, eventhough the perp was with video.

Let's see if they scrutinized the video crews anywhere near as much as they p*ss all over us. Check those mikes thoroughly!!!

...and yet, there's a part of me that still wants to believe that all will be calm and cooperative...

I'm going to go take my medication now.

how can you press charges for getting splashed with water...? c'mon now...

TC is NOT pressing charges.

And YES, charges can be brought.

Endangering the welfare of a high paid celebrity and his impending blockbuster Summer film is a criminal offense, buddy!
